Case Study: The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine

Last spring, L.U.V. had the opportunity to work with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) based in Elmira, New York. The Dermatology Club at LECOM wanted to help its members #outshineskincancer with custom UPF 50+ long-sleeve shirts. We worked with them to bring their vision to life.

L.U.V. has been amazing! Their team was super responsive and helpful with any questions I had. I am a returning customer and tell all my friends and family about their amazing quality products (especially the sun shirts)!

Case Study:

Custom Project: We were contacted by the Dermatology Club at LECOM to help its members #outshineskincancer with a custom UPF 50+ long sleeve. They selected just over a dozen Black Opal UPF 50+ Long Sleeves, ranging in size from small to large, with the LECOM logo in white on the left chest.

Strategy: Thanks to an impactful initial conversation, all expectations were successfully outlined at the beginning of the project which allowed for a smooth process. While each project is unique, LECOM’s order went into production immediately and shipped out within six days of receiving the order.

Branded Elements: LECOM provided a high-res version of their school’s logo that was added in white on the left chest of the shirt. The placement of the logo, size color and more and were all discussed in the initial conversation to ensure success for the final product.

The Process:

Initial Conversation: The initial conversation is impactful for both parties to discuss the desired timeline, order quantity, options and more. An initial conversation is required to provide a quote and ensure everyone is on the same page.

Invoice Approval: Following the initial conversation, an invoice is provided with a break-down of pricing. This is also the time where a bulk order discount is provided for orders over 25 units.

Sample Approval: Now for the fun part! It’s time to see your vision finally come to life. Detailed sample photos are shared to get approval or any edits that should be made before final production.

Production: After the sample is approved, it’s time for production. The production timelines varies based on order quantity and detail of the design. For orders under 25 units, production on average takes 5-7 days.

Shipping: Each of our orders are packaged with the utmost care to ensure your order arrives safely. Unless otherwise discussed, all orders ship out via USPS.
