Amelia Island is a true oasis in Northern Florida, welcoming 13 miles of pristine coastline and attractions for the whole family from golfing and kayaking to nature walks and sunsets on the beach. Book your ticket and get packed! Here is your Amelia Island Travel Guide.

The Amelia Sun Visor is inspired by the Amelia Island lifestyle. From a morning walk on the beach to an afternoon on the courts or putting green, the visor will protect you from harmful UV rays no matter where the day takes you.

What To Do:

Venture to the Fernandina Beach historic district: Centre Street and the surrounding area are lined with favorites like the Salty Pelican, Amelia Island Coffee, and a fantastic view of the Amelia River. Venture to Fernandina Beach for an afternoon window shopping, and end the afternoon by watching the sunset and enjoying the local cuisine.

Cumberland Island Kayak Tour: Cumberland Island is the southernmost barrier island in Georgia famously known for its uninterrupted, picturesque coastline and the home of Thomas Carnegie’s winter home first built in 1884. Due to the island being basically inhabited, it is not uncommon to find active sea life and full sand dollars. While we may be biased, we’ve found the best way to explore Cumberland Island and the area around is via a kayak tour. The tour leaves Fort Clinch State Park to kayak to Cumberland Island and then returns back to the state park. On your kayak tour, it is not uncommon to have dolphins join you.

Explore Fort Clinch State Park: Located on the northernmost point of Amelia Island, Fort Clinch Start Park transports visitors into the past with a well-preserved Civil War-era fort. The start park offers entertainment for both history buffs and nature lovers alike.

What to Wear:

Amelia Island is, overall, a laid-back beach town with plenty to do year-round. Even in the winter months, the weather comfortably averages in the mid-60s.

Winter: Grab your favorite long sleeve Sun Shirt, Amelia Sun Visor, and a light jacket for a morning walk on the beach.

Spring: Spring on the island welcomes dreamy weather and a warming breeze. Grab your trusty Sun Visor, and reusable shopper tote and enjoy a trip to the Amelia Island’s Farmers Market.

Summer: Enticed by the beautiful weather, people flock to Amelia Island for the summer months. Grab your UPF 50+ Sun Wrap, and enjoy a blissful morning on the beach before retreating to the shops in a UPF 50+ Boardwalk Dress for the afternoon.

Fall: Fall on Amelia Island is a true oasis as the island begins to clear as summer vacationers head back home to kick off the school year. During the fall months, it is the perfect time to enjoy the thicker material of the All-Star Tennis Dress. Pair with a light jacket and the Amelia Sun Visor for a golf outing or tennis match.
